Collins Aerospace Maintenance Repairs Operation site in Santa Fe Springs California is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Repair Technician. You will be responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, modifications and repair correction of problems . What You Will Do
Work Onsite at our Sana Fe Springs, CA Location Work Hours Monday – Friday (5:30am-2pm) with consistent and encouraged overtime (Sat. & Sun). Conducts inspection of incoming assemblies and components according to procedures and technical data Sets up repair and test facilities. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Repair as necessary identified units that fail test or tolerance levels. Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations. Use hand and power tools for part and component assembly. Ensure short cycle time repairs and returns ensuring quality processes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline Qualifications We Prefer: Basic Computer skills for documenting repairs and following work instructions.
