Material Handler

Immediately Hiring! Material Handler, Circleville, OH Pay Rate: $26.12 plus shift differential Shift: Rotation KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.  Responsible for breaking down incoming pallets and delivering materials to designated point-of-use cabinet locations. Scanning materials upon delivery to ensure accurate inventory tracking. Rotate stock following First In, First Out (FIFO) principles. Keep cabinets clean and always organized. Daily monitoring and replenishment of bulk MRO (Maintenance, Repair, & Operations) materials. Responsible for hazardous waste handling, following all applicable safety regulations and site protocols. May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. Verify order accuracy and stage materials for order. Prepare pallets, apply labels. Load trucks safely and efficiently. Perform daily equipment checks and report issues. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures. Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods. May load/unload trucks; may use a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks. Work will be in warehouse doing functions such as: receiving, storing, parting, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas and parting material. Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Must feel comfortable working in a chemical plant environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods Attention to detail and reliable work habits Basic computer or scanner skills Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license. Must be able to use and/or wear all required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation.  Must be able to work any shift and work overtime, as necessary.
