The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java, with experience delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless integration with backend banking systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java. Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions. Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs and backend banking services. Optimize application performance, responsiveness, security, and scalability. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues. Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices. Develop and maintain unit tests and support automated testing initiatives. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and mobile application deployment processes. Work closely with DevOps teams to improve build automation and release management. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. #LI-GM Required Skills 6–9 years of experience in Android application development. Strong proficiency in Android Kotlin and Android Java (mandatory). Experience developing enterprise-grade mobile applications, preferably within Digital Banking or financial services. Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android architecture components, and mobile application lifecycle. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services. Familiarity with Oracle databases and enterprise backend environments. Experience working on HPUX, Linux, or Solaris environments is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Gradle, Maven, Firebase, and Fastlane. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile application build and deployment. Exposure to DevOps practices and mobile release automation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Knowledge of mobile application security best practices and performance optimization. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools. Experience in Digital Banking or Retail Banking projects.
