Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Newcastle Work Pattern: Part Time, 25 hours per week. Monday to Friday 10:00-15:00, Sunday 08:00-13:00, Saturday plus 1 rotating day off. Summary of Role Alliance Healthcare is seeking a motivated and flexible Warehouse Operative to join our Service Centre in Newcastle. As part of a fast-paced pharmaceutical supply chain operation, you will play an important role in supporting the safe and efficient distribution of healthcare products that reach millions of patients across the UK. Replenish stock within the automated picking system. Pick and pack customer orders accurately across manual picking, bulk, fridge, and secure areas. Route completed orders to the correct transport and distribution channels. Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity when handling products. Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements at all times. Support the efficient flow of products through the warehouse operation. Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets and service levels. Familiarity with automated picking systems. Experience picking and packing customer orders. Understanding of stock control and inventory processes. Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment. Experience working to productivity and performance targets. Flexible approach to supporting operational requirements.

Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.

Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements. Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials. Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations. Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements. Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.
