International Strategic Program Manager - Vice President

Job Purpose: The International Strategic Program Manager will be responsible for supporting delivery, execution and governance of key strategic initiatives incl.  major cross-functional/franchise wide business transformation, growth and regulatory change projects. Job Background/context: The INTL Strategic Program’s team supports Citi across 93 Presence countries, as well as key strategic programs with Hub Managed Countries. The role will work in partnership with the Cluster and Country Business Execution heads and business/function  partners in order to coordinate the planning and execution of strategic initiatives  and cross functional regulatory change, business transformation programs. The role requires an experienced change professional skilled at managing multiple streams of work, stakeholders, functions, dependencies, and risks.

Lead or support cross functional projects through the full lifecycle and ensure they are completed on time, to budget and adhere to the firm’s standards; be accountable for end-to-end project delivery Work with Senior Program managers and/ or Senior Stakeholders to create and maintain the high-level roadmap.  Work with team members on detailed project plans/ timelines and co-ordinate sign-off of deliverables  Implement and run or provide support for an effective programme management governance model in line with Citi requirements Produce or support the production of materials for working group and steering group meetings, as well as discussions with regulators where related to the initiative. Provide the support for regular updates to governance forums. Ensure Risks are mitigated/escalated in an appropriate and timely manner to ensure programme execution remains within risk appetite. Work with sponsors and respective project steering committees to remove project implementation impediments Interface with 2nd/3rd Line-of-Defence teams to ensure programme execution/deliveries/evidence are aligned to 2nd/3rd LoD expectations Accumulate lessons learnt and evolve project management practices accordingly Maintenance of Program Management artefacts e.g. plan, roadmap, milestones, RAID log, metrics, escalation points, dependencies where required Knowledge/Experience Program management/change delivery experience 7+ years) Banking or financial services experience (5+ years) Experience with cross-functional / business delivery Experience of running regulatory driven programmes; reviews and interaction with internal compliance/audit functions are highly desired  Knowledge of Citi’s products and services in International Markets is advantageous Bachelor degree (Master Degree desirable); Project Management qualifications desirable Qualifications & skills Ability to manage through influence (e.g. management in the absence of reporting lines) including across international stakeholders Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with large, complex and diverse teams and operate autonomously on specific tasks Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator Strategic and goal-oriented thinker; highly organised and structured with analytical mind set Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve problems Business analysis experience and ability to break complex problems into bitesize chunks Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity and a fast changing, often demanding work environment  Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family Group: Project and Program Management ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family: Program Management ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: Full time
