Associate, Statistical Data Scientist

The role is/includes      An Individual Contributor role   Hands on programming role, involved with execution all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) based on input and guidance from testing lead   Responsible for the quality of software development and deployment.    Some of the duties include analysis of software, and systems, mitigate risk and prevent software issues.   Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility   Collaborate closely with other team members and departments   Train and mentor junior resources   Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)   Design and develop automation scripts when needed   Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies   Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle   Create documentation based on the requirement of SDLC   Ensure the tasks are completed with minimal to no supervision   Support weekly/biweekly/monthly - CDARS/SIGMA Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies   Experience in the complete Software Development Life Cycle   Experience in Agile delivery models   Good understanding of different testing methodologies,  Black Box, White Box testing   Handling the resources and update the management with status report of testing activities   Flexible and quickly adapt new environment and quickly learn the project requirement   Updating Testing lead regularly about the progress of testing activities   Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues    release   Focus on Functional Testing, Stress Testing, Regression Testing, scalability testing ,Smoke Testing and Adhoc Testing   Experience in effort estimation, plan and define strategy and implement of Software Testing strategies   Understand the business requirements   Create/ review test plan, report etc.   Design and develop automation scripts when needed based on inputs and guidance from testing lead   Check if the team has all the necessary resources to execute the testing activities   Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect   Carry out testing as per the defined procedures   Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out   Ensure that all testing related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures    Work Location Assignment: On Premise Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.
