Actively participate in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Processes Review and document specifications per user requirements Analyze and design Global Manufacturing IT Applications Develop the application per user requirements Enhance or revamp existing applications for improvements Test the application in Development & Test environment before go live Analyze the performance of applications and take necessary actions to improve efficiency Ensure all application systems documentations & procedures are updated Provide system training to business users on the newly enhanced application as need Collaborate with internal IT teams and end users on projects Initiate transformation projects for better operation efficiencies Understand and accept responsibility for performing the jobs in accordance to the environment, health & safety rules of the company Qualifications Required : Master / Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, including: .NET Core / .NET 6+, C# and/or VB.NET, ASP.NET (MVC / Web API), MYSQL or MS SQL Server and PL/SQL, React / ReactJS, Blazor, IIS administration and Web Services (REST/SOAP) Preferred : Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is a plus; Good command of written and spoken English Skills : Additional advantages: Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment in a technical capacity Familiarity with manufacturing domain applications and processes Experience supporting and maintaining service-oriented architectures (SOA/microservices) Exposure to Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or AI-related technologies & frameworks Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Familiarity with source code version control systems (e.g., Team Foundation Server or Git) Additional Information Western Digital is committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants and employees and will not discriminate against any applicant or employee based on their race, color, ancestry, religion (including religious dress and grooming standards), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, breastfeeding or related medical conditions), gender (including a person’s gender identity, gender expression, and gender-related appearance and behavior, whether or not stereotypically associated with the person’s assigned sex at birth), age, national origin, sexual orientation, medical condition, marital status (including domestic partnership status), physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, protected medical and family care leave, Civil Air Patrol status, military and veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.
