About this role
As Technical Producers at Riot, we lead passionate technical teams and initiatives to create products and experiences that maximize developer and player value. We guide development, clear blockers, and help teams deliver in a sustainable way while creating a strong collaborative environment.
As a Principal Technical Producer on Central Tech's Account Management team, you will co-lead the Duo-model engagement system alongside a senior technical counterpart, serving as the clear front door for Riot's internal customers. In this role, you will streamline customer demand into actionable priorities through structured rituals and decision-making, while reinforcing the Product Menu to minimize bespoke, reactive intake. Partnering closely with engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders, you will build a predictable, scalable engagement model that enhances roadmap alignment, maximizes visibility, and drives successful delivery across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Lead the customer-facing account management side of the Duo model, partnering with a senior technical counterpart to create a unified and high-trust interface between Central Tech and assigned customers.
• Shape and evolve how Central Tech engages with customers by improving the mechanisms, rituals, and artifacts that support the Duo model at scale.
• Help customers navigate Central Tech's Product Menu by translating needs into standard offerings where possible and clearly identifying when work is bespoke, cross-functional, or requires escalation.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate customer goals, constraints, and dependencies into clear plans, priorities, and actionable work.
• Lead roadmap alignment, prioritization, and tradeoff conversations so customer asks are grounded in strategic outcomes rather than reactive intake.
• Own the initiative's work systems for the relationship, including rituals, tracking, reporting, decision logs, follow-ups, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure asks, commitments, dependencies, risks, and decisions are captured in the appropriate systems and remain visible to customers and internal partners.
• Establish accountability loops and governance structures so stakeholders have clarity on status, ownership, and next steps.
• Represent customer context and priorities in internal Central Tech conversations, helping engineering, product, and program partners stay aligned on what matters most
• Assess stakeholder sentiment, relationship health, and engagement friction, then proactively drive improvements in trust, clarity, and execution quality.
• Identify blockers, escalation needs, and cross-team gaps early, and drive them to resolution with the right level of urgency and leadership visibility.
• Help create a more sustainable operating environment by reducing random pings, relitigation, and avoidable coordination overhead across Central Tech and its customers.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Technical Producer, Program Manager, Product Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar role supporting medium to large technical teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional, initiative-level work in environments where success depends on influence, alignment, and operational rigor rather than direct authority.
• Strong ability to define and communicate plans, tradeoffs, and priorities across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management, including working with senior partners, navigating competing priorities, and maintaining trust through clear communication and follow-through.
• Experience building or owning work systems that include
