About the Role: Our mission is to make all of our customers’ security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection and response, threat hunting, and other Falcon use cases. To enable this, the systems behind NG-SIEM (next generation security information and event management) are growing to accommodate >100 PB of event and action data ingested every day, up to 10 years of retention, and dozens of millions of queries per hour across large sections of the data stored. CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineering Manager for the NG-SIEM product group working on the LogScale Search Frontend team. This is a critical role in the organization, responsible for driving the operations team as they build towards a zero-touch, highly refined, automated and self-service model in this space. You will be instrumental in the hiring, retaining and growth of our world class engineers. You will work cross functionally with your peers in the engineering organization as well as leaders in sales and product. Please note: This role is open to candidates in the Aarhus, Denmark region only. What You'll Do: Drive the Kestrel event search initiative for the frontend: lead the team building a new, modernized search interface that will serve as the company-wide event search experience across the Falcon platform, replacing the current Advanced Event Search with a customizable, analyst-centric UI. Own the technical vision and roadmap for LogScale's frontend surface, including dashboards, data visualization, query editing, and web components that enable security analysts, threat hunters, and IT operators to explore massive datasets. Lead and grow a team of frontend engineers. Drive hiring, provide mentorship, support career development, and foster a culture of ownership, quality, and collaboration. Partner with Product, UX, and backend engineering teams to translate customer needs into well-architected frontend solutions. Champion the end-user experience and ensure the search and visualization capabilities keep pace with rapidly growing platform scale (>100 PB/day ingestion, millions of queries per hour).
