As a Sales Specialist – Aortic & Cardiac Surgery, you will partner with healthcare professionals to deliver innovative medical technologies that improve patient outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical device sales professional who enjoys working in a dynamic clinical environment, building trusted customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of a market-leading portfolio. In this field-based role, you will work closely with hospitals and healthcare professionals across your assigned territory while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires regular travel to customer sites, including operating rooms and catheterization laboratories (cath labs), to provide product support, clinical education, and case coverage. You will report to the Business leader and play a key role in driving business growth while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Aortic and Cardiac Surgery technologies include medical devices and solutions used to treat diseases of the aorta and the heart through open surgical procedures. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Drive sales growth by promoting the Aortic & Cardiac Surgery portfolio within the assigned territory Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, operating room staff, and other key clinical stakeholders Provide clinical and technical support during procedures, ensuring the safe and effective use of Medtronic technologies Identify new business opportunities, develop territory plans, and achieve agreed sales objectives Deliver product presentations, clinical education, and training sessions for healthcare professionals Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs, business initiatives, and product launches Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and market intelligence while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree  Proven experience in medical device sales, preferably within cardiovascular, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, or a related specialty Strong understanding of hospital workflows and the cardiovascular clinical environment Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, manage a sales territory, and consistently achieve sales targets Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory Candidates who demonstrate a strong commercial mindset, a proactive approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities, and a genuine drive to exceed expectations will be highly regarded.
