Responsibilities - Design and develop intelligent risk detection and mitigation solutions for TikTok's global ecosystem across multiple product scenarios, including short-form video, LIVE, social interaction, and emerging products, with a focus on identifying and preventing abusive and fraudulent activities (e.g. scams, gambling, pornography, fake engagement, and other policy-violating behaviors). - Build and deploy large-scale AI/ML models leveraging Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), sequential learning, graph learning, and multimodal technologies to detect high-risk users, content, and behaviors from massive-scale images, videos, text, user interactions, and social networks. - Research and develop next-generation risk intelligence and anti-abuse algorithms by mining complex behavioral patterns, modeling adversarial attack strategies, and proactively discovering emerging threats to continuously enhance the security and integrity of TikTok's ecosystem. - Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data science, and operations teams to transform cutting-edge AI technologies into production-ready risk control solutions with measurable business impact. - Continuously improve model performance through offline analysis, online experimentation, and large-scale data mining, balancing detection effectiveness, latency, scalability, and user experience. - Stay at the forefront of AI and trust & safety technologies, exploring the application of LLMs, multimodal foundation models, graph learning, and agentic AI to solve real-world security and abuse challenges.
