Deliver morning papers. Deliver and collect linen between laundry and service areas. Complete assigned jobs, working systematically, from the lower floors to the higher floors. Advise the Supervisor of store requirements for the service areas and housekeeping cage. Ensure the entire service is kept clean and tidy at all times. Stack and clean service areas and room attendants trolleys, maintaining the par level of guest amenities and linen requirements for guest rooms. Collect rubbish and linen from hub areas, corridors and service areas. Move furniture and equipment when requested. Carry out cyclic cleaning in guest rooms when required. Respond immediately to requests to deliver guest requirements. Ensure that both housekeeping cages are kept clean and tidy, ensuring all equipment is covered eg. rollaways, cots, highchairs and prams. Ensure that a correct handover takes place with the following shift.
