Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.   This position ensures financial asset integrity and delivers accurate, timely financial reporting across business units within a high-growth operating environment. The role addresses complexities in data capture, standardizes account reconciliations, and streamlines general ledger transactions. In addition to core accounting execution, this function evaluates capital expenditures and implements process improvements to scale financial operations efficiently.   What Success Looks Like: Execute account reconciliations and general ledger entries to maintain financial integrity and compliance across all business units Design automated and optimized workflows to capture financial data for unique business transactions Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis on capital expenditures and growth initiatives to support executive decision-making Apply AI-driven analytics and automation tools to streamline routine accounting processes, reduce manual variance analysis, and increase reporting speed Produce monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for leadership with actionable insights Skills, Experience and Requirements Core Skills and Competencies: Deep expertise in core accounting concepts, financial standards, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities to synthesize complex financial data into concise summaries Proficiency in AI literacy and financial technology tools to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency Critical experience navigating fast-paced accounting environments, preferably within technology or high-growth business units Clear written and oral communication skills to present financial information to stakeholders across business units   Additional Qualifications: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional designation   Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment Required Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle Financials or equivalent) Working knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and standards (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis)   Visa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits .   The base pay range shown is a guideline.
