As a Field Service Engineer , you will perform service, maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and warranty work on compressed air filtration & drying, industrial air filtration, and process filtration systems for customers across Norway and, when required, in countries such as Sweden and Denmark. You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with Donaldson's quality standards while building strong customer relationships and identifying aftermarket opportunities.

Your Responsibilites Perform scheduled service, maintenance, repairs, commissioning, warranty work, CCRs, and emergency breakdown support. Deliver high-quality technical service that meets customer expectations and company standards. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through excellent communication and professional service. Identify opportunities to promote spare parts, service agreements, maintenance contracts, and other aftermarket solutions. Collaborate closely with Area Sales Managers by sharing customer leads and identifying new business opportunities. Complete service reports and all required documentation accurately and on time while complying with company procedures. Manage service stock and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained. Respond quickly and efficiently to customer breakdowns and emergency service requests. Be available for short-notice customer visits when required. Travel within Norway and internationally for customer assignments, training, and technical support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Completed secondary education with a technical background. Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, and refrigeration systems. Valid driver's license. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Fluent in Norwegian and English Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a field service, maintenance, or aftermarket environment. Valid electrical and refrigeration certification. Ability to identify customer needs and recognize additional service opportunities. Additional language skills beyond Norwegian and English.
