About this role
Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is a fast-growing business focused on enabling customers to find inspiration, information, entertainment, and community through video content at any point in their shopping journey. We are seeking a Sr Technical Business Development Manager to drive the strategy and execution of partner enablement and brand adoption programs for live-commerce solutions in the China market. As the sole representative of this program in China, this individual will operate with a high degree of autonomy, independently managing priorities, building local relationships, and driving results while collaborating remotely with the broader global team. This role will work cross-functionally with internal account teams, sales organizations, and third-party agency partners to develop scalable go-to-market strategies that accelerate the adoption of self-service video commerce tools by China-based sellers and brands. The successful candidate will combine business development expertise with product marketing acumen and a deep understanding of the e-commerce and digital media landscape to build scalable programs, create compelling market-facing materials, optimize operational workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes. This position will evolve as the program scales and the scope may expand to include additional product lines, markets, or functions over time. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, bias for action, and an entrepreneurial mindset. As the first and only team member in this market, the role requires a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments, can independently set direction, and is comfortable making day-to-day decisions without close oversight. We are looking for someone who can think like a founder, identify opportunities for growth, and drive innovative solutions in this rapidly evolving space.
