About This Opportunity Uniphore is looking for a highly skilled and business-minded Associate General Counsel - Commercial to lead and scale our global commercial efforts. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role that sits at the intersection of legal, sales, and strategy, supporting Uniphore's go-to-market initiatives and accelerating growth. You will serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior leadership, negotiate Uniphore's most strategic and complex customer agreements, and help build processes to support our evolving business. This position reports directly to the General Counsel. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with SaaS and enterprise sales transactions, thrive in fast-paced environments, and be passionate about partnering with go-to-market teams to deliver practical, customer-focused, solution-oriented advice.

Evaluate and redesign the company's workflow and contracts management systems, including the implementation of AI tools throughout the contract management cycle. Structure, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of high-value commercial agreements, including enterprise customer agreements (with respect to both SaaS and on premise products), data protection agreements, channel and partner agreements, technology license agreements, development and collaboration agreements, and professional service agreements. Evolve and iterate commercial strategies to scale with the company, by developing scalable legal frameworks, standard templates, and negotiation playbooks. Identify and implement process improvements that streamline deal cycles, enhance efficiency, and reduce friction in the sales cycle. Collaborate closely with sales, revenue operations, product, engineering, and customer success teams to drive revenue while managing legal and operational risk. Advise and engage with senior leadership, distilling complex legal and business issues into clear, actionable guidance. Manage outside counsel and mentor legal team members as needed, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
