Job Overview
The Account Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive is responsible for end-to-end account ownership with a strong focus on profitable revenue growth, early project engagement, and strategic positioning of TE as a preferred supplier at the OEM. This position can be based remotely near one of the client or TE´s sites. Job Requirements
Strength customer relationship by driving regular interactions with Technical and Commerical teams internally and externally Manage and execute won business projects to ensure adherance to customer commitment- timeline, cost and quality Serve as the lead Account Manager for the region, accountable for profitable revenue growth, identification of new business opportunities, and sustained customer satisfaction Assess and pursue new business opportunities; manage and launch new product programs/streams; and initiate projects proactively at an early stage Review customer contracts and coordinate alignment with the Legal department Lead change management activities and demonstrate strong financial acumen in commercial discussions, including P&L reviews and customer contract reviews/updates Identify application areas where TE does not hold a leading position and define account ownership and product requirements accordingly (Grow over Market and Competition Replacement) Own the preparation of financial justifications, presentations, and quotations, and lead negotiations for specific projects and pricing for existing business, with a strong focus on profitability and timely closure of customer agreements What your background should look like
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; a Master’s degree is an advantage Minimum 5+ years of commercial experience in the Automotive Industry Technical understanding of Products/ Manufacturing process Strong negotiation & presentation skills Fluency in German and English Prior customer-facing experience with a German OEM is a plus Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Competencies
