Position Summary
The Concession Stand Lead oversees the operation of the stand location. Responsible for ensuring quality of products and accurate preparation of all food and beverage items as listed, overseeing and participating in set-up and closing procedures and paperwork (basic math skills), and resolving problems with the assistance of a manager. Previous experience in a fast-paced, food service, supervisory position is preferred. Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent bending, stretching, and reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event-driven schedule, including nights and weekends per business needs. This role will pay an hourly range of $20.00 - $22.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until November 6, 2026.
Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the service of food and beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages. Check the guest's ID to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. Lead the setup of the stand locations. Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event. Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals. All other duties as assigned by the managers.
Qualifications
1-2 years' experience working in a lead capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education. Ability to lead the work of others. Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on the events schedules and business needs Must be comfortable performing operational tasks in outdoor environments, regardless of weather conditions. Must have adaptability, endurance, and a commitment to safety while working in both high-heat and cold-weather settings.
