HPE Networking Engineer II This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

How you will make your mark: Troubleshoot and diagnose customer-reported networking issues and drive them to satisfactory resolution. Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through effective technical support and communication. Provide both Case Management and Solution Management support. Manage customer cases by ensuring timely identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of reported issues. Support customer solutions by helping ensure optimal performance and operational stability. Develop and execute technical and operational action plans to analyze and resolve customer issues. Coordinate with appropriate internal teams to ensure ownership and resolution of reported issues. Escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution and customer success. Validate and reproduce customer-reported issues in a remote lab environment when required. Collaborate effectively with HPE Aruba Networking teams, customers, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Field Support organizations. Manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. Prior experience in networking, technical support, customer support, or a related field is preferred. CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including: Routing and Switching Wireless Networking TACACS+ AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) RADIUS SNMP IEEE 802.1X DNS DHCP Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
