About this role
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
As part of Compliance Shared Services (CSS), you'll help build the centralized compliance programs, training, and governance processes that enable Affirm to scale responsibly. Your work promotes a culture of compliance by delivering practical, risk-based solutions that support regulatory requirements while protecting Affirm and its customers.
What You'll Do
As a collaborative, detail-oriented Compliance Analyst II, you'll help strengthen Affirm's compliance programs by developing impactful training, supporting governance processes, and partnering across teams to enable sustainable, scalable compliance.
• Develop and maintain compliance training that translates complex regulatory requirements into clear, engaging learning experiences, enabling employees to meet their compliance responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support the administration of Affirm's compliance training program by tracking completions, maintaining training records, coordinating enrollments, and preparing reports and audit-ready documentation.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, and business stakeholders to gather feedback, manage content updates, and ensure training materials remain accurate, current, and well-documented.
• Support Shared Services governance programs by contributing to risk assessments, regulatory change management, and compliance issue management through documentation, reporting, action tracking, and evidence collection.
• Maintain organized documentation, version control, and evidence in accordance with established governance standards and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve training materials, documentation, and operational processes that enhance the efficiency and consistency of compliance programs.
What We Look For
We're looking for a resourceful, analytical, and proactive Compliance Analyst II who applies sound judgment, communicates clearly, and delivers high-quality work while collaborating across teams in a regulated environment.
• 4+ years of experience supporting Compliance, Risk, Audit, Controls, or related governance programs, preferably within financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining compliance, risk, policy, or operational training, including drafting content, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and managing documentation and version control.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory or policy requirements into clear, practical learning content.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage assigned work, follow established processes, and maintain accurate documentation and evidence.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across functions and time zones while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles, multi-jurisdiction compliance training, or governance activities such as regulatory change management, risk assessments, or compliance issue management is a plus.
