The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Area Activation Marketing Specialist in the Building Protection Solutions business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Manage the customer education tactics for architects, contractors and channel partners. Act as the marketing point person for the architect persona by managing insights, marketing analysis, strategy development, and tactical implementation for this key demographic. Lead asset management to ensure sales enablement and digital tactics have up to date, customer centric, and engaging marketing and technical collateral. Manage association engagement to ensure consistent 3M brand in the construction segment. Support other activation marketing projects and programs as needed. Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Five (5) years of marketing or marketing communications experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master’s of Business Administration degree from an accredited institution Seven (7) years of marketing or marketing communications experience in a private, public, government or military environment Experience working at a complex matrixed corporation Skills include project management, program management, insights research and analysis, content development, video production, graphic design, and technical writing. Experience working in the architect or construction segments. Work location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international Relocation: Not authorized. Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $145,676 - $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
