Raytheon is hiring for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 1st shift (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, plus every other Friday) on a 9/80 schedule. Candidate will be a shift support engineer and be responsible for the uptime and maintenance of various fab processing equipment such as evaporators, coat/develop tracks, Ashers, sputter, Wet/Dry etch tools, etc. and working hands-on in a cleanroom environment. The candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of systems including and not limited to pumps, bulk fill systems, T/H units, power supplies, etc. This Includes high levels of experience, electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. Future expansion to support a wider range of equipment is expected.

Diagnosing equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals. Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs. Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.

You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment. U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

We Prefer  Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics. Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations. Able to document work and provide detailed pass down. Ability to pull and analyze tool date. Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software. Knowledge of thin‑film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR). Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.  Proficient use of MS Office products.
