As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic food manufacturing environment and discover how we ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety – from raw materials to the finished product. You will work closely with experienced Quality and Manufacturing professionals, gaining practical knowledge of quality testing, laboratory processes, hygiene controls, and continuous improvement. Throughout your internship, you will receive structured onboarding, dedicated mentorship, tailored training, and regular development conversations with your Team Lead to support your individual learning journey and career ambitions. As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will: Support and independently perform sampling, analytical, microbiological, and sensory testing of products and the production environment, in line with inspection plans, specifications, legal requirements, and customer expectations. Support the evaluation and interpretation of test and analysis results and contribute to decisions related to product release, blocking, and corrective actions in case of deviations. Support the release of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, ensuring that quality and food safety requirements are met. Review and support the management of Certificates of Analysis for raw materials and packaging materials. Perform hygiene and environmental controls according to established inspection plans, including checks following cleaning and maintenance activities. Support the preparation and execution of sensory testing activities. Maintain retention sample storage and ensure relevant documentation is kept up to date. Create and update laboratory-related documents, procedures, and instructions. Ensure laboratory activities are performed in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), internal company standards, legal requirements, and official testing methods. Support the maintenance, calibration, and compliance of laboratory equipment and testing instruments. Assist with ordering laboratory consumables and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment. Work in a safety- and environmentally-conscious manner, following applicable regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
