Job Description
As a Specialist of Trade Marketing, you will create awareness and generate demand in the marketplace for NBC, Bravo, News & Versant cable initiatives– with the singular goal of driving maximum ad sales revenue while ensuring we are the industry’s most-trusted partner for maximizing media effectiveness for clients of all sizes. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Trade Marketing, Duties and Responsibilities Create industry leading marketing materials, campaigns, client experiences and other B2B marketing tactics Build and develop content-focused and audience-driven trade marketing campaigns that drive awareness to the benefits of being a partner (including presentations, sizzle videos, e-blasts, sweepstakes, industry events & conferences, social campaigns, events & more) Translate research into clear compelling stories - support the creation of visually compelling presentations and marketing materials, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Liaise across network brand partners to manage key programming information to ensure accuracy and consistency Oversee event management & premium development (content strategy, event ideation, branding, list management & execution) Develop immersive & one-of-a-kind experiences that help build sales relationships and position the team as best-in-class Qualifications 3+ years of experience with an agency, client or media company sales organization background, where the individual was responsible for supporting team in the development of presentations, sponsorship, creative and promotion Ability to project manage marketing campaigns including branding, collateral, merchandise & event execution in a timely manner Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience Desired Characteristics Strong visual design sensibility, including layout, typography, color, and brand application Ability to build high-impact PowerPoint presentations quickly without sacrificing quality or accuracy Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives Attention to detail across formatting, alignment, consistency, and overall polish General understanding of the advertising marketplace across platforms (linear, digital, streaming, programmatic) Experience in media marketing and the advertising sales process Understanding of B2B branding—strategy, development, and execution Self-starter
