Job responsibilities
Execute cash equities trades across EMEA markets. Monitor market activity and identify trading opportunities. Manage risk and ensure compliance with firm policies. Collaborate with sales and trading teams to optimize client outcomes. Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights. Support the team in daily operations and process improvements. Maintain accurate trade records and documentation. Participate in projects to enhance trading platforms and workflows. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture. Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic trading environment. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or a related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and develop trading expertise. Commitment to integrity and compliance. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Demonstrated interest in financial markets. Fluency in English. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Internship or prior experience in equities trading or financial services. Familiarity with EMEA equity markets and regulations. Experience with trading platforms and market data tools. Advanced Excel or programming skills (e.g., Python, VBA). Ability to analyze large datasets and extract insights. Multilingual skills relevant to EMEA markets. Strong problem-solving mindset. This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
