Treasury Capital Planning and Management – VP JR040806 FRANKFURT We’re seeking someone to join our Capital team as a Vice President in Treasury to support the management of the Firm’s European legal entities’ capital resources. This is a VP level position within our Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning Job Family which is responsible for planning, managing, forecasting and optimizing capital, liquidity and funding resources; governance oversight of Treasury and Capital Planning; setting frameworks, policies and guidelines for appropriate management of these resources; managing regulatory deliverables and exams; managing CCAR/Capital Stress Testing process. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources. What you’ll do in the role: Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards Manage the production, enhancement initiatives and governance processes for the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) for European entities Lead, develop and execute capital optimization projects including capital allocation, non-equity economic capital instruments and legal entity capital structures Lead regulatory engagement and supervisory review activities, acting as a key point of contact for capital planning matters and driving the delivery of high-quality regulatory responses and remediation outcomes. Influence and coordinate senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk and business functions (both locally and globally) to ensure effective capital management and alignment of capital strategy with regulatory, financial and business objectives. Manage and present capital related materials for key governance and regulatory forums, providing insight, challenge and recommendations on capital adequacy, risk appetite, recovery planning and strategic capital decisions. Identify and implement process enhancements and automation efforts within the Capital Planning and Management area working with broader Finance, Risk and Technology Undertake capital analysis for European entities including the setting of targets and limits Work on strategic Treasury projects such as dividends, infusions and restructuring activities  Develop the response to senior management and regulatory requests Manage, mentor and develop a team of capital planning professionals, setting priorities, building technical capability, and ensuring effective talent development across the function Build a close working relationship with other groups within Corporate Treasury and Capital Planning, as well as across Business Units, Firm Management, wider Finance, Risk, Legal and Operations Manage, attract, develop and retain talent for team within Finance while creating an inclusive environment; translate Firmwide goals into actionable goals for department/function What you’ll bring: Advanced understanding of Treasury, as well as of industry and competitive environment, including deep knowledge of prudential capital frameworks, ICAAP, stress testing, capital planning and recovery planning Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks In-depth
