Job Description
Shift: Night - 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM Shift Premium Amount: $1.00 Pay Rate: $22.55 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications. Understand and be able to safely STOP equipment during normal conditions and during an emergency. Set Machine up to SOC using the appropriate conditions. Use a computer system to set run conditions and adjust as necessary within SOC. Perform Line start up and Line shut down. Understand and safely operate equipment. Follow all training documents or standard operating procedures (SOP) to operate the line safely and efficiently. Ability to use production reporting systems to fulfill job functions. Always safely operate lab equipment. Understand all quality lab equipment and be able to operate and adjust as necessary to safely test film samples. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry as the main operator of one or multiple processes Strong mechanical aptitude is desired. Ability to make sound decisions and follow guidelines. Must have good communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math, reading, and computer skills. High awareness toward safety. Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking. Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary. Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs. Hand and eye coordination. Use stairs and hand tools as required by job.
