New hires will work within our business segments providing financial analytics and investment decision support for Applied Materials’ businesses, forward looking products and strategic engagements. This role under the Operations Finance FP&A organization within our business segments will support driving activities for the major product segments at Applied Materials. This position will involve analyzing and developing content for Applied Materials CFO and Segment CFOs, product groups, investor relations and treasury, and presenting that content in an effective way. The position requires a high level of diligence as majority of the reporting and presentations will be serving the executive management of the company. This role involves a focus on spend, productivity metrics, and efficiency Key Product Indicators across the company, helping to summarize the data related to market trends and drivers, competitors, business unit financials in a meaningful way. This person will proactively work with key business partners across the company to develop actionable reports and analyses. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working on strategic initiatives, as well as the details of business analytics along with deliverables related to financial reporting cadence.
