Program and Budget Management Analyst The Opportunity: The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our Air Force's resources can make the most impact. As a Program and Budget Management Analyst, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, and management expertise to work on projects for DoW cybersecurity clients. You’ll analyze budget data and cultivate stakeholder relationships to aid our clients in managing resources in the budgets of varied DoD components. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and functions related to PPBE oversight of DoW Services and Agencies. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the project managers and team leads. You Have: Experience with DoD programs and management processes Ability to liaise with Government personnel regarding technical issues related to acquisitions Ability to liaise with Government budgetary personnel on the proper use of Lines of Accounting (LOAs) Ability to enter and update procurement statuses in squadron acquisition databases Ability to track acquisition statuses continuously from initial submission through final delivery Ability to update the Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS) database, monitor status, and provide updates and approvals to government personnel Ability to enter and track acquisition needs in the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with budget planning, justification, and prioritization Ability to balance multiple diverse workstreams and work collaboratively across teams Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of cybersecurity and cybersecurity programs Knowledge of Air Force Mandatory Sources and ensure that all acquisitions adhere to current guidance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
