Job Overview
TE Connectivity (TE) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Test Technician to join our Harrisburg Electrical Component Test Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in executing and documenting test programs for TE Connectivity, contributing to the development and quality assurance of our products. Technicians are expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in their work, as test results directly impact product development and quality assurance. This position comes with a $3000 sign on bonus. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing on TE products for Engineering Evaluation and Qualifications. Prepare samples using hand tools and soldering techniques. Build test setups and equipment following mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams. Utilize various mechanical measuring devices for product assembly and verification. Operate electronic testing equipment, including power supplies and specialized test instruments. Review and summarize test data. Write comprehensive test documentation and reports. Collaborate with internal product, development, and quality engineers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures. What your background should look like
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in product testing or related field preferred. Proficiency in soldering techniques. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles. Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with hands for extended periods. Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with MS Project is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with critical thinking abilities. Ability to work well in a team environment with diverse backgrounds. Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities. US citizenship or US lawful permanent residency status (due to ITAR restrictions).
