Specific Responsibilities

The Accountant II for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Marketing Accounting team at the company’s Houston office reporting to the Accounting Manager. This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

Perform marketing accounting functions related to Apache’s domestic oil and gas properties. Actualize oil, gas, and ngl volumes marketed by Apache in Endur for calculation and integration of pricing and deduct data to the revenue system. Perform Settlements functions including invoicing, interface with counterparties, and ensure timely payment for gas, oil, and ngl sales and purchases. Responsible for payment of transportation and cashout invoices for assigned pipes & plants. Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations for Accounts Receivable, Payable, and other accounts. Will interface with multiple groups and individuals, both internal and external to Apache. Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting; other business related degrees will be considered when combined with a minimum of 12 completed accounting hours. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Knowledge and experience in SAP & Endur beneficial but not required. Competencies
