Design, develop, and test new user-facing features for fitness metrics within the Google Health iOS app. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Swift and Objective-C code, following iOS best practices and Google Health's coding standards. Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including ideation, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Debug and resolve issues, optimize application performance, and ensure a high-quality user experience on the iOS platform. Work with on-device data and algorithms to deliver real-time feedback and personalized insights to users.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. Swift). Experience in developing iOS applications. Preferred qualifications: Ability to work and achieve results without daily supervision collaborating with other engineers. Ability to work on highly scalable, database-backed, and distributed systems. Ability to focus on delivering value rather than pure engineering. Ability to communicate with internal and external partners to create system design.
