Senior Product Manager, Amazon Pay Balance

Amazon Pay Balance ( APB) , enables millions of customers to make seamless payments across Amazon.in, off Amazon, 50M+ offline merchants and sending money to any bank account in India. As a regulated Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) issuer authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), APB is at the forefront of India's digital payments revolution. The APB team owns the end-to-end experience for all prepaid balances customers hold with Amazon, including Wallet, Gift Cards, Vouchers, and future currently . We are building One Balance - a unified prepaid experience that makes APB India's most trusted digital expense account. With 11M+ monthly active users, industry-first launches like Wallet UPI and Add Money & Pay (AMAP), and ambitious plans for Transit, Pocket Money, and AI-driven payments, APB is a high-growth charter at the intersection of product innovation, regulatory navigation, and massive customer scale. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will be the single-threaded owner for defining and scaling the redemption CX for Amazon Pay Balance. You will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for how customers spend their prepaid balances across on-Amazon (Stores, Prime) and off-Amazon (Online merchants, UPI, Transit) surfaces. Key job responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision : Define the multi-year product vision and roadmap for APB as India's most trusted digital expense account. Author PRFAQs, lead executive reviews, and identify new market opportunities across payments, transit, and demographic expansion. Roadmap Development & Execution : Own the APB redemption roadmap spanning On-Amazon (Stores Purchase Days, APB MAU) and Off-Amazon (UPI, prepaid cards, transit). Drive value-based prioritization and manage cross-functional execution from concept to launch across multiple platform and business teams. Customer Experience & One Balance Framework Define and execute the One Balance framework unifying redemption CX for all prepaid products (Wallet, Gift Cards, Vouchers). Champion frictionless payments for both sufficient and insufficient balance scenarios, and leverage AI for payment recommendations across checkout surfaces. Regulatory Navigation & Compliance : Navigate evolving RBI, NPCI, and MeitY regulations to build seamless experiences while maintaining full compliance. Define product strategy for 2FA, device binding, and KYC flows, and partner with NPCI on PPI-UPI working committees. Market Expansion & Innovation : Unlock next-wave adoption through demographic expansion ( dependents), category innovation (Transit cards, Wallet-backed credits), and exploration of IoT and AI-driven payment experiences. Stakeholder Management & Go-To-Market Influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders to secure roadmap alignment.
