OVERVIEW THE·TEAM are recruiting a Senior Manager, Event Marketing to join the Major Events team on a full-time, 4-month fixed-term contract, reporting to the Senior Director, Event Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event marketer to help lead ticket sales marketing campaigns for the Nations Championship. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment and has a proven track record of delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable ticket sales. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies to drive ticket sales across multiple event phases. Working alongside internal specialists, external agencies and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and optimising campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels, ensuring marketing activity supports both commercial objectives and the long-term growth of the event. Development of marketing plans Brief and manage the development of campaign creative across digital, social, CRM, OOH, radio, partnerships and other marketing channels. Manage development of campaign materials for use across paid, owned and earned channels Track campaign performance, producing reporting and recommendations that improve commercial outcomes. Ensure all marketing communications maintain brand consistency across every customer touchpoint. Working with ticketing colleagues, hospitality sales colleagues and the ticketing agent to maximise yield while filling the stadium as you track sales against forecast and targets Success in this role requires someone who is commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders with differing priorities. You'll enjoy balancing strategic planning with hands-on campaign delivery and using data to inform marketing decisions. WHAT YOU NEED: Significant experience delivering ticketed event marketing campaigns that drive commercial sales. Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM and customer acquisition strategies. Ability to measure and evaluate campaign success with experience of optimisation techniques Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative environment. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience operating at Marketing Manager level or above. A creative thinker who can provide council to our stakeholders and partners Proactive and able to work both as part of a team and independently Excellent communication skills – verbal and written with attention to detail Knowledge of rugby would be advantageous, but is not essential.
