The Position Under the direction of Organon Cross Functional Expert Lead: ERP Finance Solution Architect, this position will be accountable to gather requirement and map business process with the suitable design in SAP systems. Supporting and guiding initiatives across the global financial systems landscape by designing robust and scalable SAP FI/CO solutions that build on existing platforms. Your expertise in accounting and SAP FI/CO processes enables you to translate complex business requirements into practical, high-quality concepts that strengthen global financial processes. Support the Cross-Functional Process Expert Lead by designing, governing, and improving end-to-end (E2E) processes across domains. Ensure process harmonization, standardization, and smooth cross-system handoffs across ERP and enterprise data platforms.
Responsibilities
As a Cross Functional Expert: SAP FI-CO Solution Architect, the candidate would be responsible for the timely completion of tasks and actions defined by the project plan. The candidate would be responsible to Build and expand in-house expertise across SAP S4 HANA FI-CO modules including GL, AP, AR, Tax, AA, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA, CO-PC, Banking, treasury, and consolidation systems to enable delivery of high-value use cases. Lead from FICO perspective, including local legal compliance requirement implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration and continuous improvement projects across multiple business units and geographies. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and align them with SAP FICO capabilities. Serve as the Technology Lead and trusted advisor to our Treasury and Finance Business Partners as we support the Treasury Management solution. Find opportunities to bring efficiencies and improvements in business processes in the area of Corporate Treasury. Support the Treasury management system which includes Bank account and Communication management, In House Cash, Netting, Intercompany payments, Lockbox processing, Bank Communication Management, Bank Statements, Interest calculations, FX and Investments. Deep subject matter and technical knowledge are both required in many of these areas. Identify process variants, duplication, and optimization opportunities across regions, plants, and business units. Define cross-domain handoffs, operational controls, and integration points between systems. Align process standards with XLAs, business KPIs, and compliance requirements. Assess process impacts across ERP and data platforms. Maintain a cross-system dependency matrix for E2E processes. Provide impact analysis for upcoming changes, releases, and cross-functional initiatives. Enforce modelling standards, naming conventions, and process policies. Ensure proper approvals, documentation quality, and compliance with enterprise controls. Maintain the enterprise process repository and ensure consistent version management. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, Data Governance, and Operations teams. Expected Outcomes: Reduced process fragmentation and fewer variants across the enterprise. Smoother and more reliable handoffs across systems, functions, and domains. Better visibility into cross-system dependencies and reduced release-related risks. Standardized, high-quality process documentation used consistently across teams. Success Measures: Reduction in E2E process variants. Decrease in handoff-related defects or errors. Process documentation quality and compliance score. Fewer cross-system defects due to improved impact visibility. Stakeholder alignment and adoption of standard process models. Decision Rights: Recommend and enforce process modelling standards. Approve or reject process exceptions or variants. Validate cross-system impacts for major changes.
