The Manager Security is responsible for the local design, coordination, and control of cross-functional security processes, procedures, and programs. This position supports Global Security by helping protect Hershey facilities, associates, visitors, assets, products, supply chain operations, and brand reputation across U.S. operations. You will participate in crisis management, site assessments, food defense, global supply chain security, traveler and visitor protection, workplace violence mitigation, security training, investigations, and security integration with operations. This role also works closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, law enforcement, first responders, and contract security teams to support effective security operations and compliance. What will you do? - Develop, maintain, and support local and company Crisis Management programs through training, drills, threat monitoring, emergency readiness, documentation, and engagement with law enforcement and first responders. - Support the design and implementation of security programs across U.S. manufacturing, distribution, retail, and office locations, including physical security, food defense, workplace violence mitigation, investigations, and security integration with operations. - Manage or support physical security infrastructure, including CCTV, access control, alarms, perimeter protection, site assessments, security projects, budgets, and contractor quality assurance. - Support Global Supply Chain Security Program standards, supplier or partner security reviews, compliance audits, and supply chain risk reduction efforts. - Manage travel risk, major event security planning, visitor protection, stakeholder coordination, and security vendor relationships. - Participate in sensitive investigations involving employees, assets, facilities, products, and brand reputation while ensuring appropriate escalation, documentation, ethics, and policy alignment. Minimum Education & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required. - Minimum 5 years of investigative experience, or 8+ years of experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, military, or corporate security organization required. - 4+ years of security management experience with a large, multinational company preferred. - Experience in corporate investigations, physical security, food defense, executive or associate protection, risk analysis, compliance, crisis management, emergency response, and threat monitoring. - Strong program development, budget management, project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influence skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with leaders, hourly teams, vendors, law enforcement, and external partners. - Experience with security compliance programs such as C-TPAT, OEA, Food Defense, SQF, FM Global, NFPA, FEMA, or similar standards preferred. - Ability to travel as needed to support business, security, and operational priorities. #IND #LI-JS1 #LI-Onsite
