Job Title Banking Services Portfolio Manager, Strategic Procurement Location London Corporate Title Director Strategic Procurement in the Global Procurement and Vendor Management team (GPVM) is responsible for the ongoing Sourcing and Category Management of circa €6bn of external third-party expenditure. The team collaborates across the Bank to drive innovation, maximise value opportunities, improve performance and risk management and also manages all commercial aspect of contracts to protect value by minimising risk of commercial loss, through negating commercial disputes. As Portfolio Manager you will be high-performing Director looking to use expertise to focus on business and supplier engagement, people development, delivery against objectives and projects, and process improvements. Manage (direct or matrix) a team of professional Sourcing Managers. Lead the development of Category strategies with business stakeholders with a view to communicating a clear and collective vision to generate value. Your skills and experience Experience in Financial Services, specifically Investment, Corporate or Private Banking including procurement of Banking Software and Operations. In-depth understanding of management/service delivery from third parties and experience leading global strategic supplier management relationships with organisations with high levels of complexity. Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Demonstrable team player with strong interpersonal and management skills. Strategic agility necessary to create competitive and breakthrough strategies. Strong sourcing and governance focus with excellent negotiation skills.
