The Opportunity
This role supports warehouse and production operations by ensuring materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods are properly moved, staged, stored, and delivered to support efficient production flow. The Material Handler plays a key role in inventory management, warehouse organization, safety compliance, and product quality while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure cutting and finishing machines are supplied with the correct materials to support efficient production. Move, wrap, stage, and store WIP and finished goods in designated warehouse locations. Operate forklifts safely, including performing daily equipment inspections and completing required training. Coordinate with scheduling to maintain appropriate WIP inventory levels and transfer excess materials to offsite storage as needed. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials throughout the facility. Support warehouse organization, housekeeping, and equipment cleanliness. Follow GMP, OSHA, and company safety standards while identifying and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions. Inspect warehouse areas for cleanliness, contamination risks, and facility damage. Work collaboratively with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to meet operational goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic computer skills. Ability to complete company forklift training and maintain forklift certification. Valid driver's license required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed, including during peak production periods. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
