Warehouse Operator

Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for all activities involving materials movement and inventory transfer between the warehouse, production, staging area and customer sites. The overall objective of the role is to support a wide variety of tasks in the warehouse function. This includes receiving, supporting production, shipping, cycle counting, inventory management and systems. This role requires a certain level of computer literacy and high level of physical effort Responsibilities Assist Warehouse Supervisor in Receiving, Production Support, Shipping & Inventory Management. Receiving – unloading, inspecting, receiving, sampling and locating all ingredients, packing and finished product that arrives at the plant. Production support – ensuring continuous supply of ingredients and packaging to production and filling lines. Inventory management – perform cycle counts, complete reconciliations, monitor inventory transactions, continually sort out inventory issues as they arise. Proper documentation/filing & goods receiving of delivered items to warehouse in the online system (QAD, HMM). Able to multitask between packing, picking and receiving duties. Previous experience in operating VNA will be advantages. Experience in unstuffing pallets, crates and cartons from container. Experience working in a chemical environment handling Class 3 Dangerous Goods and packing for overseas Air Shipment. Maintain good housekeeping in warehouse area using Lean system (eg. 5S, FIFO, RCA). Strict compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements pertaining to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). Perform any other duties as assigned.

NITEC, Higher NITEC with minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, freight forwarding and logistics in the Chemicals industry, Aerospace background preferred. Preferably with a valid forklift license. Good interpersonal skills – able to work well with all levels Able to work under minimal supervision, possesses initiative and willing to learn attitude. Basic PC knowledge skills is a must.
