Everything we do at Sysco LABS supports Sysco’s Purpose of   “Connecting the world to share food and care for one another ” ,   and our work directly   impacts   millions of food consumers in a trillion-dollar, global industry.      For more information visit:   www.syscolabs.lk         We are currently on the lookout for an  Associate Technical Lead   -   Android   to join our team.     R esponsibilities :   Own ing   the technical design, development, and long-term maintainability of Android applications in the Warehouse domain   Serv ing   as the primary communication bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear,   timely , and effective collaboration with both US and local teams   Provid ing   hands-on technical leadership to a team of 2–3 developers, driving engineering best practices, code quality, and mentoring   Lead ing   end-to-end delivery of features and bug fixes, including planning, estimation, execution, and   release   accountability   Continuously evaluat ing , introduc ing , and champion ing   modern Android technologies, architectures, and tools to improve scalability and developer productivity     Requirements :   A   Bachelor’s   D egree in Computer Science , Engineering, or equivalent experience   5+ years of hands-on Android application development experience   Strong   proficiency   in Kotlin (preferred) and solid Java skills   Experience with Android Jetpack components ( ViewModel ,   LiveData / StateFlow , Room, Navigation,   WorkManager , etc.)   A s olid understanding of modern Android app architecture, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization   Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and/or Flow for asynchronous programming   Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDKs   Proficiency   with UI development using XML and modern UI frameworks (Jetpack Compose is preferred)   Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso,   Robolectric , etc.)   Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger/Hilt   Proficient with Git and modern source control workflows   The a bility to own deliverables and guide junior developers     Benefits:    Performance rewards and recognition    Agile Benefits - special allowances for Health, Wellness & Academic purposes    Paid birthday leave    Team engagement allowance     Comprehensive Health & Life Insurance Cover - extendable to parents and in-laws     Hybrid work arrangement     Sysco LABS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
