Associate Manager - Accounting - US GAAP & Workiva

Associate Manager (Accounting) Role Overview: This is an individual contributor role that will play a key role in System implementation & Finance transformation program as an active member of the External Financial Reporting Workstream. This individual will help design, test, document, and operationalize future-state external reporting processes, controls, data flows, and reporting technologies while ensuring business requirements are met and regulatory reporting obligations continue to be delivered accurately and efficiently. This will be the primary responsibility for the duration of the project anticipated to run through 1Q 2029. Beyond the project, this role will support the preparation, analysis, and review of financial information provided to external stakeholders, including regulators, investors, auditors, rating agencies, and other third parties. This role is responsible for preparing financial statements, regulatory filings, disclosures, and supporting documentation while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control expectations. In this role, the individual, will leverage modern cloud-based financial reporting, consolidation, analytics, and disclosure management platforms to streamline reporting processes, enhance data integrity, and support the delivery of regulatory and financial disclosures. The role partners across Finance and Technology teams to maximize the use of reporting automation, workflow management, and data-driven insights within the organization's digital finance ecosystem.

External Financial Reporting Project Workstream and Finance Transformation Serve as a core member of the External Financial Reporting Workstream. Define future-state external reporting processes and requirements with business and technology partners. Support design, testing, validation, and deployment of Oracle, EPM, and Workiva reporting capabilities. Evaluate reporting, control, and compliance impacts of process and technology changes. Support transition, adoption, and continuous simplification of reporting processes. Technology & Digital Finance Enablement Utilize cloud-based reporting, disclosure management, and analytics solutions. Leverage automation, workflow, and visualization tools to improve reporting effectiveness. Partner with Finance Technology to support system enhancements and digital capabilities. Build expertise in emerging financial reporting technologies. Process Improvement and Technology Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability. Support reporting data governance, standards, and documentation. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve process consistency. External Financial Reporting Prepare recurring external financial reports and disclosures. Compile, analyze, and validate data used in external filings. Prepare supporting schedules, exhibits, and disclosure documentation. Research and resolve reporting and reconciliation issues. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting. Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis Assist in the preparation of annual, quarterly, and periodic financial statements. Prepare footnote disclosures and supporting analyses. Support adoption of new accounting and reporting requirements. Document accounting conclusions and reporting methodologies. Controls, Compliance, and Audit Support Execute financial reporting controls and maintain supporting documentation. Support SOX compliance and control testing activities. Prepare audit support for internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Recommend enhancements to reporting controls and quality. Collaboration and Stakeholder Support Partner with cross-functional teams to gather reporting inputs and requirements. Support responses to auditor and regulator requests.
