The Product Safety and Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant product safety regulatory guidelines in Japan. As the Product Safety and Compliance Specialist, you will collaborate with Amazon’s stakeholder teams including Fulfillment Center Operations, Selling Partner Business Legal, Customer Service, and Technology teams to enforce Product Safety policies in Japan. You will actively seek cooperation from not only internal functions but also external vendors and assess risks of high-risk products and evaluate test results of the products. to support business expansion. The role must ensure all products in JP Marketplace meet Amazon's policies, ensuring safety and compliance is embedded in end-to-end processes with managing/building programs. The role is responsible for understanding Amazon policies and guidelines as well as the legal requirements that applies to the product Amazon offers for sale.
