Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. This position will support facilities projects and engineering team in either the plant engineering, project engineering, or crane engineering team. Candidate shall demonstrate solid knowledge of applicable regulations, codes and standards for this position. Candidate shall possess the ability to create (basic) electrical designs with minimal oversight from a senior engineer as well have experience evaluating, maintaining and performing troubleshooting on moderately complex power and/or industrial control systems. Candidate shall be capable of developing project execution documents for estimating and planning and capable of implementing electrical projects with team support. These projects support facilities engineering in power infrastructure and controls, building control systems and industrial equipment control systems. The candidate shall be capable of solving problems in an organized manner. Basic MS Office suit and AutoCAD skills are required (Word and Excel) as well as the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, peers and customers. Skills that will developed as part of this position are an basic understanding of mechanical equipment and system interfaces with electrical systems, understanding of simple mechanical and structural drawings, and basic understanding of project scheduling tools. Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience; Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.
