Mechanical Senior Engineer Michelin, the Worldwide leader in Tires, is hiring! -------------------------- KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS Ensure machine availability, reliability, and performance  for all plant machinery and applications. Consult and attend to operational maintenance activities and breakdowns  by conducting root cause analysis, developing corrective actions, and executing them to prevent recurring issues. Reduce maintenance costs  through cost-effective solutions in breakdowns, corrective and preventive maintenance, and process improvements. Prepare technical documentation  and associated instructions for machinery (safety, quality, work procedures) and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Execute maintenance instructions and operational procedures  for setting, commissioning, adjustment, calibration, and other machine maintenance activities. Ensure the availability of critical spare parts and equipment  and maintain updated relevant data in the SAP system. Support and carry out OPEX/CAPEX projects  relevant to the perimeter. Drive maintenance-related initiatives  (RCM, CMMS, FMEA) and ensure their sustainability. Update KPI dashboards on time  and maintain accuracy. Ensure compliance with stipulated procedures  of the technical team (safety, quality, daily management system). Develop maintenance skills  of technicians through tutoring, coaching, training materials, assistive devices, and ‘one-point lessons’. CANDIDATE PROFILE Bachelor’s Degree specialized in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent. Preferably 4 - 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering/mechatronics or Hydraulic field. Proficiency in Engineering Software such as MS Project, Solid Works & AutoCAD. Experience in Project management including planning, scheduling and budgeting will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala, along with strong interpersonal relationship skills. Demonstrated Customer focus, Teamwork & Collaboration, Leadership and Problem-Solving skills.
