Job Overview
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:00PM to 2:00AM A Day In The Life
Supply machine operators with raw materials, bar stock, tooling, fluids, and other production necessities. Remove chips, scrap, and finished product from machine centers to maintain workflow and housekeeping standards. Monitor machine fluid levels and assist with replenishing oils and coolants as needed. Transport materials between production, inventory, and staging areas using material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards. Conduct visual inspections of materials and communicate quality or production concerns to supervisors. What will help you thrive in this role?
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around manufacturing equipment. Ability to perform basic math calculations and follow written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, or machine shop experience preferred. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
Strong sense of urgency and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment. Dependable attendance and a positive attitude. Ability to multitask and adapt to changing production demands. Desire to learn machine operations and grow within the organization.
