About this role: The Recruiting Director (APAC) leads Talent Acquisition strategy for the Global Technology Sales (GTS) and Global Business Services (GBS) across APAC. The leader will manage and develop a recruiting leadership team, ensure systems hygiene and compliance, collaborate with TA leadership, and drive global hiring goals and performance through analytics, stakeholder engagement, and change management. What you’ll do: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of leaders and recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture - optimize their deployment across recruiting activities, and drive performance and productivity to achieve hiring goals. Design and implement region-specific recruiting strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs and market dynamics. Analyze recruiting metrics, report on hiring performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with APAC business leaders and HRPs to anticipate workforce demands, define hiring goals, ensure all hiring needs are met with quality talent by building robust talent pools and pipelines, with a focus on economics. Utilize all relevant talent channels, strategically lead initiatives to enhance our recruiting capability and deliver quality talent. Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition leadership team to support recruitment initiatives and drive consistency in performance. Drive training and development efforts across the recruiting team Oversee recruitment operations, ensuring process efficiency, maintain 100% systems hygiene and compliance across all systems of record, and a positive candidate experience. Continually manage and monitor team's workload, making adjustments and changes as needed in team resourcing and structure to grow/evolve as needed for optimal performance. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree preferred 8-10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 5 years of people management experience, including experience managing people leaders. Consistent demonstration of integrity, collaboration, no limits mindset, objectivity, and delivering results consistently using global best practices. Ability to effectively engage and lead senior executives, including OC members, in the development of solutions for Gartner’s most critical business initiatives. Experience managing multiple relationships and volume vacancies Demonstrated ability to model, influence and manage team to maintain rigor in process, compliance, and operational expertise. Demonstrated high level of influence, negotiation skills and ability to create trust-based, value-added relationships in a global, matrix environment. Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate organizational change utilizing a full spectrum of change methods. Strong analytical skill set and ability to solve problems and think creatively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills Excellent consulting, coaching and facilitation skills.
