In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to transform complex technical and clinical information into clear, accurate and user-friendly content that helps improve patient outcomes while supporting regulatory compliance.   Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at three days per week. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. VISA: Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.   Your responsibilities will include:

Develop, edit and maintain clinician Instructions for Use (IFUs), patient manuals and product labeling that meet quality and regulatory standards. Partner with engineering, quality, clinical, regulatory affairs, marketing and manufacturing teams to gather information, resolve technical questions and ensure documentation accuracy. Facilitate cross-functional document reviews and incorporate feedback while maintaining document quality, consistency and compliance. Ensure documentation complies with applicable regulatory and industry requirements, including FDA regulations, ISO standards and EU MDR requirements. Maintain document revision histories and supporting documentation in accordance with quality system and risk management processes. Develop documentation project plans, prioritize deliverables and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously to meet business timelines.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Biomedical Engineering or a life science discipline. Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical writing within a regulated medical device, life sciences or manufacturing environment. Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and document management, content management and/or quality management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, audience-appropriate content. Excellent attention to detail, critical-thinking skills and the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships with subject matter experts.

Preferred qualifications

Advanced degree in Technical Communication, English or a related field. Experience authoring content within an XML-based content management system. Experience developing documentation for multiple audiences, including clinicians and patients. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and medical device labeling requirements. Understanding of documentation development within a highly regulated environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential risks and recommend practical solutions.
