Job Description
L3Harris Technologies has an immediate opening for a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer on 2nd shift in Wilmington, MA. The ideal candidate for this position will be proficient in all aspects of the systems engineering process, will have direct and significant experience designing and testing complex systems, and will be comfortable coordinating teams of technical personnel. In this role you will help design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver critical space-based remote sensing systems to our customers.

Essential Functions
• Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
• Support concept of operation development and requirements analysis, decomposition, and generation at various levels of the system
• Conduct systems modeling and simulation to analyze system performance and validate requirements.
• Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Providing leadership and technical guidance across the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• 4+ years of experience with systems engineering principles and practices
• Professional experience with systems modeling and simulation
• Professional experience developing products for space-based applications
• Ability to obtain a US Government Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Additional Skills
• Active U.S. Security Clearance
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or similar certification.
