The Software Configuration Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of vendor software solutions, including Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products. This role requires a strong understanding of solution architecture, business processes, and data requirements to ensure optimal system performance, security, and efficiency. The Software Configuration Analyst collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure software functionality aligns with organizational needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, document, configure, test, validate, implement, and manage Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products, customizing solutions as needed to meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Perform routine configuration and maintenance activities to ensure software systems operate securely, efficiently, and effectively. Identify and work within constraints of vendor platforms while optimizing performance and functionality despite technical limitations, licensing restrictions, or integration challenges. Maintain strong working relationships with software vendors, proactively addressing platform-related issues and ensuring timely resolution to minimize system downtime and disruption.
