As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician , you'll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls, and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It's a fast paced, high-volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life - saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner. Schedule: 8-hour shift between 7am - 7pm CST, Monday - Friday with possibility of weekends and overtime. High School Diploma/GED Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of employment without restrictions 1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience 1+ years of experience with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Ability to work between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday. Shift will be consistent once determined. Overtime may be required on weekdays and weekends as needed. Reside in one of the following states: Michigan, Florida, Arizona, Texas Preferred Qualifications: Specialty pharmacy experience National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA) Telecommuting Requirements: Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service Telecommuting is not to be used as a substitute for children or dependent care.
